Jodi Edgette held her friends so close they became family. She was “Not Like Other Girls”
I first met Jodi on a Dead Head Facebook Group for fans attending Playing In The Sand 2019. Our real life introduction happened during Fall Fun Run when she handed me a “Hello My Name Is” sticker for Scarlet Begonias. Our friendship solidified during the Covid shutdown, when I asked Jodi for an invite to a weekly cooking group with the Goldfish Lunatics. The goldfish comprised of almost 3 dozen NY/NJ deadheads who had formed a cohesive family unit. Unbeknownst to most of us, despite her ever present smile, Jodi was fighting terminal cancer. Yet, even in the midst of a global pandemic, her generous heart was always forward facing. She was brave and beautiful- I will love and miss Jodi until the end of time. 💜⚡️🦋 #BOP
