The Graveyard
A place to honor members of the jam band community who’ve died.
The people we miss stay with us in the stories we tell, the music we carry, and the memories that still shape this community. This space is here to honor them and help keep them close.
The jam community also has some of its own lingo—and even more when you get into what flavors of jam we’re talking about. That’s understood here. Those stories are appreciated. These aren’t meant to be obituaries. We don’t care if someone went to Harvard. We want to know who they were when they were on tour, following that band around, at setbreak, in the campground, and in the stories people still tell.

Not Fade Away
Jeffrey Emblidge

He brought so much happiness to those who knew him.
Julia Rose Coulombe

It’s hard to imagine her magic if you hadn’t met her.
Matthew McKalips

Known as “Marty” by all his closest friends, he will always be a person who is impossible to forget.
Howie Greenberg

He never met a stranger—only someone he hadn’t shmoozed yet.
Emily Rose Wilson

Emily had the best time and was rich in fun!
Jodi Edgette

Jodi held her friends so close they became family. She was ‘Not Like Other Girls’.
David Peters

Scarlet Begonias, cold Coke, and teaching his kids to be kind.
Joey

Some people leave quietly. Joey left an echo — in the mountains, in the music, in all of us trying to keep up.
Forever immortalized in the Gizzverse, he’ll always be missed.
Jeffrey Berger

He wasn’t just part of the story—he was how the story began.
If there’s someone you want honored here, share about who they were and help us keep their place in this community close.
