JBG exists in part because people deserve to have information they can act on. That applies to us too. We’re a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and these are our legal documents—posted publicly so anyone who wants to verify who we are can do so without having to ask. You can also independently verify JBG’s status directly through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search and the Illinois Secretary of State Business Entity Search.

Certificate of Good Standing Issued May 1, 2026 by the Illinois Secretary of State. Confirms JBG is a registered and active nonprofit corporation incorporated under Illinois law. IRS Form 990-N (e-Postcard) — Tax Years 2024 and 2025 JBG’s annual federal tax filings. As an organization with annual gross receipts under $50,000, JBG files the 990-N — the correct and complete required filing for nonprofits at this stage. [Download PDF]
