Julia Rose Coulombe

Julia had a knack for putting a smile on anyone’s face. She was an otherworldly, unique soul. You wouldn’t understand if you didn’t know her. So full of life, love, and laughter it was infectious. She made it her life’s work to care for dogs and had a love for them like no other. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. I try and lead my life with her in mind. What would Julia do? She would be kind, more than thoughtful, patient, lead with love, and burst at the seams with joy over the little things in life. We love and miss you forever, Julia.

A few of us went to see phish at Nassau Coliseum. It was torrential rain that night and we did two laps around the venue trying to get in 😂 we finally got in and to our seats Julia went to the merch stand. She came back and stuffed something into my back pocket as I was heading to the bathroom. I get to the bathroom and it was a pair of socks !!! Changed my soaking wet socks and went back to our seats and she was so excited about it and told me about “sock break”. Usuualy sock break is at set break but bc of the rain we needed a sock break before the show started. We were both big pop music fans and it was the day before Britney Spears birthday so when we got to our section and saw Britney’s poster at the entrance we were HYPED UP 😂😂😂

Julia out in the snow with her dog, Bug—bright, playful, and full of the kind of joy she brought everywhere she went.
Julia grinning beside a blue New York Rangers car with an oversized red bow, holding a drink and posing with her signature big energy. The image captures the otherworldly, joyful spirit her friends describe so clearly.
Collage of three moments from a rainy Phish night at Nassau Coliseum: the dry socks Julia bought at the merch stand and secretly handed over, a Britney Spears poster that had everyone hyped because it was the day before her birthday, and the soaked parking lot outside the venue. The image captures Julia’s humor, thoughtfulness, and gift for turning even a rain-soaked mess into something funny and unforgettable.
